Superfest Int’l Disability Film Festival

Submit Your Film to Superfest XXIX

Superfest, the world's longest-running juried international disability film festival, is seeking your entry for submission to our 2015 film competition. This year’s two-day festival will be held in San Francisco at the Contemporary Jewish Museum on November 15, 2015 with a launch event and film viewing at the San Francisco LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired on November 14, 2015. We will focus on short films 45 minutes and under in length and will also include 1-2 feature length films. All works must be on the subject of disability or feature a prominent disabled character.

Superfest is an international showcase for innovative films that portray disability culture and experience in all its diverse, complex, and empowering facets. Entries for Superfest XXIX must be postmarked on or before March 15, 2015, no exceptions. Early bird submissions accepted through February 15, 2015 will receive a discount.

Entry Requirements
1) Work must be on the subject of disability or feature a prominent disabled character.
2) Work must have been produced within the last 10 calendar years (since January 1st, 2005).
4) Entries for Superfest must be postmarked on or before March 15th, 2015, no exceptions.
5) Submissions can be on YouTube, Vimeo or sent to us on a region 3 DVD.
6) Filmmakers must agree that upon acceptance of their film into Superfest, they will ensure accessibility by providing a captioned and audio described version. To learn more about audio description, visit:
