PEFTI FILM FESTIVAL 2016

 Introduction

PEFTI Film Festival was established by PEFTI Film Institute, to Promote, Celebrate, and Reward Professionalism in Film-Making.

Especially targeted at New Film-Makers, PEFTI Film Festival provides Training, Exposure, and Affirmation, to young film-makers. We provide Networking, as well as Partnership and Mentorship opportunities.

 

 

Aims

PEFTI Film Festival aspires to

-         Explore Innovative expressions of Global Issues

-         Provide an International Platform for Cross-Cultural Exploration of Art

-         Promote healthy Art Competition, leading to Collaboration.

-         Celebrate Professionalism in Film-Making 

-         Provide Practical Training in Film-Making, with Opportunities for Mentorship

 

Expected Participants

In 2016, PEFTI Film Festival is commencing with PEFTI Student entries.

 

In 2016, PEFTI Goes Green!

 

Entries must be centered around the Environment: Air, Land, Water, Vegetation, and/or Animals.

Videos must show Degradation and/or Regeneration of the Planet

 

GENRES: Short Film

                   Documentary / Docudrama

                   Music Video

                   Public Service Announcement (P.S.A.)

                   Commercial (Advert)

 

LANGUAGE:

PEFTI Film Festival celebrates cultural diversity. However, for judging purposes, English is the official language of PEFTI Film Festival.

Other languages must be accompanied by English sub-titles.

 

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

1.   Fill and submit Application Form

         

2.       Submit Video in following format:

          Medium: DVD + Flash Drive

          Format: MPEG

          Duration: Five Minutes Maximum

 

Entry Opens: Monday July 11, 2016

Entry Closes: 12noon on Friday August 12, 2016

Please Note:

1.       Incomplete and Late Entries will not be considered

2.       Entries that do not follow the guidelines, will be disqualified
